THINGS I'D LIKE TO BUY WITH MY JOB MONEY

(In no particular order)

• The only Regina Spektor CD I don't have, 11:11
• A cell phone (yeah, keep dreaming)
• a laptop (ditto)
• a nice, NEW box set of the Harry Potter books (see next post)
• a set of colored pencils (a few more weeks!)
• dye for my hair (I'm considering red, black, and deadly nightshade... give me your input)
• a new copy of TTFN, cos Dyani wrecked it by leaving it in a tub of water.

Oh, there will be more. Much more.

Playing Stuff On Guitar

I am so frustrated. Because (in no particular order):

• I can play the first line, and only the first line of Barbie Girl on guitar
• I cannot figure out that awesome riff from that White Stripes song
• I can't figure out "Baobabs" by Regina Spektor on piano
• Life is general

I know, right? AND Blogger is refusing to work on our OLD computer, so I have to use Dad's laptop. It's enough to make anyone an Atheist (kidding, sort of).

She's amazing! I went to a concert- third row seats!- last summer, and it was frikkin' incredible. I was spellbound! I mean, I had heard her songs SO MANY TIMES, and hearing perform them was magical. We got to meet her after, and she was really nice. I hope I get to see her ever again!

ST. VINCENT!!!

I just received a tip-off that *sucks in breath for ginormous excited-fangirl squeal* I AM GOING TO SEE ST. VINCENT!!! KYAAAH! 

It's in February, so… *perks up* but I'm going!!! YAY!!! One of my FAVORITE BANDS EVA!!! 

I also got to see Regina Spektor, I'll write about her later…
